No matter which sorority you choose, the Panhellenic friendships you form will last a lifetime. Starting your first day as a new member, you will be a part of a group of women with common goals of success. A sorority is much more than just another club to join; it is a group of women drawn together by mutual goals, trust, and respect. We hope that you will enjoy the Recruitment process and will decide to become a member of the Greek community. We wish you all the best in your future at CNU!
A note from our Vice President of Recruitment:
Hello and welcome to the Kappa Phi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at Christopher Newport University! My name is Abby and I am so excited to be in charge of Kappa Phi’s recruitment! My sisters and I are hard at work planning and preparing for the best recruitment yet, just for you! We all know that Formal Recruitment can be a little scary and a tad bit stressful, but I want to assure you that my sisters and I are so excited to get to know YOU! Our chapter has so many beautiful women, inside and out, and we invite you to see a glimpse of who we are. We have singers, dancers, cheerleaders, athletes, PLP members, bible study leaders, avid volunteers, and that’s just to name a few! Our sisterhood is diverse but we all come together as we share the bond of ZTA.
These woman have made me enjoy my college experience more then I ever imagined! They have made me the person I am today. The opportunities I have been able to have through ZTA are unimaginable! We would LOVE to share with you how our sisterhood has made us better collegiate women in only a few short years!
So, here’s to you! Have an awesome first (or second or third!) year of college and we cannot wait to share with you our home away from home!
Your new friend,
